World Food Reserve
World Food Reserve is a service founded during the Covid 19 pandemic offering support to elderly and vulnerable persons, local communities, schools, and key workers. The volunteers at Sachkhand Nanak Dham promote the ethos of selfless service providing Langar (communal meal) 24 hours a day on an international basis.
On a weekly basis they run food drives offering hot food and drinks and takeaway bags of non-perishable foods. They also offer clothes and sleeping bags.
World Food Reserve was approached by the local authorities to help support and expand the service to schools and provide food parcels 24 hours a day 7 days a week to children and low-income families.
The World Food Reserve outreach is currently functioning in a number of cities and counties in the United Kingdom and in several districts in India.
