Temple Background: Sachkhand Nanak Dham has been operating in the UK for over 40 years working towards the betterment and upliftment of society. We have worked with many organisations alongside MP’s and Dignatories across professional fields and our temples are open to people of all backgrounds regardless of colour, caste, gender and religious denomination. We are a multi faith community with the purpose of creating a universal platform for everyone to practice their own faith whilst being able to help and support the people in this world. We believe in Guru the master, God the almighty creator and promote meditation and sewa to attain enlightenment.

Main Responsibilities and DutiesThe Applicant must ensure that all religious activities are carried out at the scheduled time and sanctified manner. The Applicant will need to setup the main prayer hall in the mornings every day. Starting with setting of stage and religious cleaning changing of new fresh sheets and linen around prayer stage and flooring. Lighting of the holy lamp Jyot and Prayer point Guru Gaddi Sewa. The Applicant will need to prepare the blessed offering at the start of the day. The Applicant will monitor and look after the main prayer hall and provide assistance to elderly people in the temple.

Daily Coordinate prayer and schedule of performing hymn singers and religious discourses. But not partaking and Doing himself.

The Applicant will need to give holy Prasadam to the congregation when they arrive during the day. The Applicant has a duty to look over as a caretaker to the temple. The Applicant will need to open and lock the premises according to daily timings.

The Individual: The applicant must be proactive and dedicated to serve the people within the temple environment. Should have experience of working with people from varied backgrounds and be able to work and coordinate a team that make the temple function. The applicant Must be meticulous in organising and planning daily events and able to use IT skills to communicate with the management.

 

The applicant must be an initiated member of Sachkhand Nanak Dham. Who holds high moral code of ethics.

Follow a strict vegetarian diet and not consume any alcohol or intoxicants.

Applicant should be fluent in English and have a good understanding of Hindi and Punjabi.
